Letter of recommendation for Performia

I was approached by Giuseppe a month or so ago about using Performia's services to recruit people for my businesses.


I was interested as we needed good staff, but I was initially put off by the price and I also have a general dislike for "recruitment companies" you know the ones that make massive amounts of money "just for putting up a few ads" why not do it yourself!


Giuseppe then explained what he did (in a LOT of detail) and I somewhat hesitantly agreed for him to get us two sales staff, still having some attention on the price agreed.


Over the period of about a week Giuseppe talked to me and my managers on what made a good salesperson, a good staff member, what we liked, what we didn't like, he spoke to some of our sales staff too. He was very, very keen to find out, exactly what was wanted from us.


To be honest, I was more of the viewpoint "just get someone good, stop asking me all this stuff" I have three businesses with over 100 staff and multiple commitments and felt like I never had the time to answer, as I was too busy dealing with different jobs and staff issues!


Anyway a week or two later from about 200 candidates, Giuseppe had selected two.


He stated that one of the guys was a "performer", he would be an excellent staff member, hit the ground running and wouldn’t cause any troubles and believe it or not that is exactly what happened, I was genuinely shocked by the precision Giuseppe predicted the chaps actions.

The next chap he said, "he will need slightly more training than Aidan the first person, but when he gets it and understands he will be industrious and will just go! AND not give you any difficulty!" I'm paraphrasing as the report was very detailed, but again this is what happened.


Both have been a dream to train and work with.


As a result I asked Giuseppe to get me three more guys. These guys are operatives in a guttering maintenance company I have, I again had preconceived ideas. I had the thought because the role wasn't major or for an executive, that it would be a "waste of money to use a recruitment company" also because our staff turnover in this area is so high it would be water down the drain.


Giuseppe again came to the office to find what made the perfect operative, what were their traits and actions, he went into so much detail, he surveyed our top 8 guys to find out exactly what made them tick, he then tailor made the job ads for the job and again sifted through all the applicants, putting them through a battery of testing until, he again, whittled the hundreds of applicants down to three. All three are now working with us and doing really well.


The amount of time and money Performia have saved my businesses is huge, far more than what we've spent. I am completely converted. Giuseppe in particular is quite incredible, I'm genuinely overwhelmed by how precisely he can tell you about people and predict their actions; it's actually fascinating if I'm honest.

I would thoroughly, thoroughly recommend these guys, once you've used them you'll keep going back for more.
