How not to lose your mind under the pressure we get from the media or society?


I get a question from people around quite often these days: "How to stay in good mental health at the moment, how not to lose your mind under the pressure we get from the media or society around and what to look out for so that we as individuals or a group survive this period without unnecessary harm to our health?". I will be happy to share with you two things that help me a lot personally and if they help you with something as a reminder or as something new to try, I will be happy.


- The first thing is connected with the following law: One must oppose something or be afraid of it to make that thing able to create problems for him.


Constant "It's forbidden, It's forbidden, It's forbidden", supported by facts from hospitals and TV news is a confirmation of this law. It is a position of unwavering, unceasing massive ONLY fight and resistance that is not only crushing people today but also the government itself (it is my opinion and I could be wrong). Anyway, a very big ONLY fight and resistance bring very big problems.


With this, I don't want to say that we should ignore things or we should not address them. We would not get far in life by running away from situations. On the other hand, a powerful weapon against a threat is to pay very little attention to the threat itself and instead to put the rest of the attention to activity, creation, or things that are positive in the environment after effectively taking the necessary measures. The key is to do everything so that your attention or attention of people around you is not unnecessarily stuck on the current problem for too long. Because when this happens, the mind becomes agitated by the problem to the such a degree that it becomes neurotic or psychotic, literally. And that is the last thing we need today – paralysed management, employees or family members.


- The second thing that helps me a lot that is connected to this is the viewpoint that a man thrives mentally the most when he attacks. To attack does not mean attacking your neighbours, friends or colleagues. It means attacking current boundaries, achieving set goals, quotas, pushing forward personal boundaries, attacking your laziness or other weak spots. When a person is in this position, he has strength, desire, he is set to manage things, to live fully and win. I always have several specific things in front of me, short-term or long-term, which I want to handle, do, move forward, solve, complete and I work on them really consistently. Then an individual experiences not only the pressure of negativism from his environment but also personal victories. Also, he has no room to fight with the windmills as he is fighting the right fight. Fight for progress and prosperity, no matter what.
